TIDE programme, phase 2: 8 health facilities equipped in the East and Centre
Eight more facilities, to store and process HIV test samples without interruption.
Between 2021 and 2022 we carried out the second phase of the TIDE programme, funded by PEPFAR through the US CDC: eight 3.5 kVA solar systems at six East-region and two Centre-region facilities.
They power the cold units and centrifuges used to store and process HIV test samples, and let field agents charge their phones and laptops. East: CMA Bélabo, HR Bertoua, HP Garoua-Boulaï, CHC Batouri, CSC Nkolbikon, CSI Mokolo I. Centre: HD Ayos, HD Akonolinga.
