Frequently asked questions
How much does a solar installation cost in Cameroon?
Depending on system size, from 385,000 FCFA for a backup kit to over 5,000,000 FCFA for a full installation. The price depends on your appliances, hours of use and the autonomy you want. A real quote starts from your appliance list and your SOCADEL (formerly ENEO) bill: send them to us on WhatsApp.
Is solar cheaper than a generator?
In our comparison for a 3 to 4 room home (a 4 kVA petrol generator against a 4 kVA / 5 kWh solar kit, with 3 to 4 cuts of 10 to 12 hours a week), the solar kit pays for itself in about 10 months, then costs nothing in fuel for 10 to 15 years. A grid-connected hybrid system cuts the SOCADEL bill by 40 to 70% and pays back in 2 to 3 years.
Which brands do you install?
We are an authorized Felicity Solar and CWORTH Energy installer and reseller, and we also install Victron Energy, Pylontech, SRNE and Deye equipment, chosen for each project. Ask us for the exact brand and model of every panel, inverter and battery we propose.
Do you work outside Cameroon?
Our installations are in Cameroon. For businesses, NGOs and public programmes we carry out assessments, consulting and installations in CEMAC countries (Gabon, Chad, Central African Republic, Congo, Equatorial Guinea) on request.
I don’t have roof access. Can I still go solar?
Yes. The backup kit, without panels, keeps the power on during cuts; its batteries recharge from the grid. It won’t lower your bill, but it ends the outages.
Do you provide maintenance?
Yes: routine inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance and user training are part of our service.
How do I get a quote?
Message us on WhatsApp at +237 659 17 27 88 with your appliance list and a photo of your bill, or call us. For business projects we arrange a site visit.
