Our specific role in this transformative project involved the provision and installation of a 7.5KVA solar power system, designed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of life-saving hemodialysis equipment.

Project Implementation

The primary objective of this project was to design, provide, and install a 7.5KVA solar power system to ensure the uninterrupted operation of life-saving hemodialysis equipment at the state-of-the-art hemodialysis center at Kousseri Regional Hospital. This initiative aimed to enhance the healthcare infrastructure in the Logone et Chari department of Cameroon’s Far North region, improving patient outcomes by guaranteeing reliable power supply

Project Implementation

The project was meticulously planned and executed in several phases:

  1. Assessment and Design: Conducted a thorough assessment of the hospital’s power needs, specifically focusing on the energy requirements of the hemodialysis equipment. A custom solar power system design was developed to meet these needs.
  2. Procurement and Provision: Sourced high-quality solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other essential components from reputable suppliers to ensure system reliability and longevity.
  3. Installation: Our expert team carried out the installation of the 7.5KVA solar power system, ensuring it was seamlessly integrated with the existing electrical infrastructure of the hospital. The installation process included mounting the solar panels, wiring, setting up the inverters and batteries, and connecting the hemodialysis equipment to the new power supply.
  4. Testing and Commissioning: After installation, rigorous testing was conducted to ensure the system’s efficiency and reliability. The system was commissioned once all tests confirmed its readiness to provide uninterrupted power to the hemodialysis equipment.
